Italy keeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma has joined Paris St-Germain on free transfer and a five-year deal.

This development has occurred after he was named the player of the tournament as Italy beat England in the final to win the Euro 2020 on Sunday.

Donnarumma who was not only outstanding in the tournament, but saved two penalties as the Azzurri beat England in a shootout.

He also announced earlier this week that he was leaving AC Milan after his contract expires

In the words of 22-year-old Donnarumma, “I am very happy to be part of this great club,”

“I feel ready to take on this new challenge, and continue to grow here.

“With Paris, I want to win as much as possible and give joy to the supporters.”

On his feats so far in the national team, Donnarumma has 33 caps for Italy and has been their first-choice keeper under head coach Roberto Mancini.

Interestingly, he after earned his debut at the age of 16 in Milan and made 251 appearances for the Italian club in all competitions.
