Talented tennis star, Jon Rahm has won the 121st US Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California, on Sunday.

The Spaniard clinch finished with back-to-back birdies on a breathless final day of the tournament.

One of the highlights of the interesting tournament is the fact that this is an incredible first major at Torrey Pines for the world number three, who celebrated his first Father’s Day.

As the Twenty-six-year-old Rahm, had one-shot lead over South Africa’s Louis, he was the only contender to not drop a shot in the closing holes.

Rahm was forced to withdraw from a PGA Tour event because of a positive coronavirus test despite him leading by six shots after three rounds

When it was time for celebration, he remembered his wife and two-month-old baby. The victory became more remarkable since the win came on a Father’s Day.

With excitement, he said to his son Kepa after hearing of Oosthuizen’s closing birdie, “You have no idea what this means right now”,  “You will soon enough.”
