Brazil on Thursday beat Peru 4-0 to get a second win at the ongoing Copa America.

The goal for Neymar has made him achieve a new feat as he moved to within nine goals of Pele’s all-time scoring record.

In the competitive game, the hosts led early on when Juventus’ Alex Sandro fired in from six yards.

Neymar continued his superb performance, after half-time, by scoring his 68th goal for his country. Meanwhile, Pele has reacted to Neymar’s feat. He said, he was “rooting” for the Paris St-Germain striker to break his record.

Other scorers were Substitutes Everton Ribeiro and Richarlison who scored late goals to send Brazil top of Group B with two wins.
