The English Premier League has ended with Liverpool and Chelsea securing the final two Champions League qualification spots.

It was a different story for current FA cup winners, Leicester City as they missed out in the three-way fight for a top-four finish on Monday.

On the interesting last day of the Premier League season, it was also recorded that Leicester conceded three late goals to lose 4-2 at home to Tottenham and stay in fifth place which not make Chelsea’s 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa proved critical.

As for Liverpool, two goals from Sadio Mane took them to the third place; two points above fourth-place Chelsea after the Jugen Klopp side beat Crystal Palace 2-0.
