The most anticipated heavyweight boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia on 14 August.

This development was confirmed by Fury, who said his world heavyweight title showdown with Anthony Joshua is surely going to hold.

The winner  of the all-British bout which has been tagged as one of the biggest in heavyweight boxing for decades bout will become undisputed champion.

On the feat for Joshua so far, the 31 year-old holds the WBA, WBO and IBF belts, while Fury, 32, is WBC champion.

Most interestingly, for the first time in history, the fight will see all four belts on the line in a heavyweight bout.

Britain’s Lennox Lewis was the last talented boxer who achieved the feat of becoming an undisputed heavyweight champion from 1999 to 2000.

Fury, while announcing the fight date in a video on Twitter, said: “All eyes of the world will be on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I cannot wait to smash Anthony Joshua on the biggest stage of all times.

“This is going to be the biggest sporting event ever to grace the planet earth. Do not miss it.”

The bout between both boxers was arranged after Fury achieved the feat of defeating Deontay Wilder to capture the WBC title in February last year.
