Manchester City on Tuesday registered a win for themselves after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League.
With Kevin De Bruyne’s first-half opener, City displayed a lot of courage even in the midst of pressure from the German club.
Borussia Dortmund continued their never say never spirit with a good efforts from Phil Foden. He scored a late winner to hand City the advantage going into the return leg in Germany next Wednesday.
As for city coach, Pep Guardiola, he felt his team did not deal with the pressure of being heavy favourites to win such a match in the Champions League.
The Spanish tactician went ahead to make comments after the match. Guardiola, who has never made it past the quarter-finals with Manchester City, said: “When you win 26 games in 27 and they are not winning the Bundesliga, the pressure is on our shoulders.”
