Tottenham Hotspurs on Thursday crashed out of the Europa League after losing 3-0 to Dinamo Zagreb.

Before the disgraceful exit, Spurs started the second leg with a 2-0 lead but Mislav Orsic’s stunning hat-trick was enough to put the Croatian club through.

Tottenham paid the price for an average performance in Croatia despite the fact that Harry Kane got a double for Jose Mourinho’s side last Thursday putting them in an advantage position to qualify for the quarter-finals.

At the end of the day, Orsic’s superb hat-trick came as a shock to Spurs, with Dinamo Zagreb deservedly winning 3-2 on aggregate

Spurs were tepid in the first half but kept their aggregate lead intact and were 45 minutes from a gritty path to the last eight.
