Porto are through to the Champions League last-16 after beating Juventus with away goals on Tuesday night.
Although, Juventus won the match 3-2 on aggregate, both legs (away and return matches) ended 4-4 with Porto having an edge that fired them to the quarter finals.
Sergio Oliveira did a good job in the match, crowning his efforts with a 115th-minute goal. The goal which that took Juventus unawares was a long-range free-kick that went deep into the second half of extra time.
His goal increased Porto’s score to 2-2 on the night. Two minutes later Adrien Rabiot’s scored a thumping header which gave the Italian champions hope.
But Porto’s goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin produced a stunning save in the final moments to ensure the Portuguese champions advanced on away goals despite a 3-2 second leg Juventus win.
Porto had opened up a 3-1 aggregate lead through Oliveira’s 19th-minute penalty after Merih Demiral brought down Porto’s Mehdi Taremi.
Juventus had a disadvantage by conceding away goals which have now been knocked out on away goals at this stage for the second consecutive season.
