Manchester City on Wednesday beat Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 in the Champions League.

The win for city has increased their unbeaten tally with 19 games successive win this season.

After achieving this feat, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola made some comments. He said his side “have to be more clinical” despite seeing another impressive display sweep aside Borussia Monchengladbach.

In Guardiola’s words, “In general, we controlled the game. Unfortunately we were not clinical enough up front,”

“That is something we have to improve in this competition. Up front we have to be more clinical. In this competition you have to be perfect to make sure you go through.”

In the game, Silva open the scoring by heading in a wonderful cross from Joao Cancelo, then the same two players combined to lay on the second for Jesus.

After this win, City have increased their hopes of grabbing their first Champions League title this season.
