After Manchester United lost to Sevilla yesterday, in the Europa League, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he is targeting better squad depth to deal with another long season.
The Norwegian tactician called United’s performance against Sevilla a “disappointing” one after the Red Devil’s exit, Sky Sports reports.
Surprisingly, United’s exit has occurred three times in the semi-final stage this season.
During the match, former Liverpool winger Suso equalised for Sevilla just before the half-an-hour mark, after Bruno Fernandes converted from the spot inside nine minutes.
The Red Devils proved they could win the match with an improvement after the break, but threw away a lot of chances with errors from the defence that got them punished.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer’s focus is on how he can strengthen the team next season. In order to achieve this task, he is thinking of getting more players on board and prepare for the task ahead.
