Napoli football club manager Carlo Ancelotti has been sacked after leading the club to the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Immediately the sack took place, other clubs like Everton and Arsenal have developed interest in Carlo Ancelotti taking over as manager in their clubs.

Reports reveals that Everton will begin contract talks with Carlo Ancelotti after he was sacked as Napoli manager on Tuesday evening.

According to Sky Sports, while a new permanent manager is put in place, former Everton boss David Moyes could still return to Goodison Park in an interim role.

Sky also reports that, Ancelotti, who managed Napoli for 19 months,  is top on the list of coaches, to succeed Unai Emery, in Arsenal.

Interestingly, an hour after Ancelotti  led Napoli to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 4-0 home win against Genk, ending a nine-match run in all competitions without victory, he was still sacked.
