Tottenham Hotspurs coach José Mourinho said Hary Kane will not feature in Spurs Champions League group match against Bayern Munich, on Wednesday night.
Mourinho revealed that Harry Kane will rest when Spurs meet their opponent Bayern Munich that have already secured top spot in Group B.
Spurs, having qualified for the knockout stages as runners-up, will be an opportunity for the Mourinho to start some of the younger players.
On fielding young players, a Spurs player who could possibly be fielded during the Champions League clash is Troy Parrott, who made his debut for Tottenham during their 5-0 thrashing over Burnley on Saturday
According to Football London, Mourinho spoke more about the young striker during a press conference. He said:
“It was his debut and I think it had a much bigger meaning to a kid who last week was playing against others his age in the UEFA Youth League.
“Today he’s playing in the Premier League at 17. Will he play against Bayern Munich? I don’t know. All I can say is Harry Kane won’t. Who plays, we’ll see.”
On the mood and feeling so far after spurs triumphed over Burnley on Saturday, the 56-year-old Portuguese praised his players pledging to keep winning.
