After the sudden sack of Mauricio Pochettino, Jose Mourinho has put his new squad through their paces at Hotspur Way on Wednesday morning.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy moved quickly to secure Mourinho’s signature, with the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager signing a contract until the end of the 2022/23 season less than 12 hours after Pochettino’s departure had been confirmed.

Tottenham players arrived at the club’s training ground on Wednesday afternoon with Mourinho having already been pictured proudly holding a Spurs home shirt aloft, and ‘The Special One’ then oversaw training as he prepares for his first test – a London derby trip to West Ham in Saturday’s early kick-off.

Considering Tottenham’s 14 th position in the premier league, it is very obvious that Mourinho has a lot of work to do as a result of their poor start this season.
