France and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is fast recovering from injury and planning to come back to active football once again, after having his ankle cast removed on Monday.
After going through an aggravated and recurring problem during his side’s 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal on 30 September, the Frenchman has been sidelined.
He has missed nine games due to the issue, meaning he has been unavailable for a total of 12 games so far during the 2019/20 campaign.
Pogba made the trip to Dubai in October as he looked to speed up the rehab process, though the warm-weather training did little to aid the damage to the 26-year-old’s ankle.
He uploaded a video of the cast being taken off to his official Instagram account after travelling to Amsterdam for the procedure, as reported by the Sun.
It represents an important step in Pogba’s recovery, but he is still several weeks away from playing for United again, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer saying he expects the World Cup winner to return in early December.
