The Golden Boot race for 2019-20 Premier League season is back with desperate contenders for the prestigious award.

Chlesea’s Tammy Abraham is one of the desperate contenders and has not relented till the moment with his current at the club.

Another strong contender is Manchester City’s star Sergio Aguero drew a blank as Wolves ran out 2-0 winners at the Etihad, but Abraham began the Blues’ rout of Southampton on the south coast.

Otherwise, it was a weekend of big-hitters failing to score as Mohamed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Teemu Pukki, Roberto Firmino and Marcus Rashford all ended up empty-handed.

Meanwhile, Kevin de Bruyne may not be high among the top scorers yet, but looks odds-on to claim the most assists this season after getting seven by gameweek six. Here is the list of players with the highest goals.

Sergio Aguero for Man city tops the list with 8 goals and 2 assists. Tammy Abraham has also scored 8 goals without any assist. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 7 goals without any assist. Norwich’s Teemu Pukki has scored 6 goals with 2 assists. Raheem Sterling has scored 6 goals with 1 assist.
