Aruna Quadri celebrated his Nigeria Open success by showing support to the less privileged after visiting a Lagos-based Children’s Hospice.
Quadri, accompanied by his wife, Ganiyat, donated food items and other materials to support the Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice.
An official of hospice based in the heart of Lagos, Surulere, Samuel Ilori described Aruna Quadri’s gesture as commendable adding the 2019 ITTF Challenge Plus Nigeria Open Champion would be the second sportsman to have visited the home this year after football star, Henry Onyekuru visited early this year.
During the visit, Aruna Quadri toured the home and visited some of the children who are chronically ill.
The Oyo-state-born ping ponger said he embarked on the gesture in appreciation of what God has done in his life.
