Former England international midfielder Joe Cole has hailed former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama as one of the best shot stoppers that he has played with.

The ex-Chelsea star who announced his retirement this week while speaking on his favorite five a-side team, described Enyeama’s goalkeeping abilities higher than former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina and Arsenal goalkeeper, Petr Cech.

He also said the Nigerian commanded an imposing figure capable of securing a win for any team in a five a-side contest.

The decision of Cole to pick Enyeama came as a surprise because he only spent a year with the Nigerian while he was on loan at Lille from Liverpool in 2011. Same season when the French side campaigned in the UEFA Champions League.
