South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa is receiving treatment after testing positive for Covid-19 on Sunday.
This development was disclosed from the office of the 69-year-old.
Ramaphosa who is isolating in Cape Town has mild symptoms at the moment
After attending the funeral of former President FW de Klerk, Mr Ramapahosa started feeling unwell on Sunday.
Mr Ramaphosa has delegated all responsibilities to Deputy President David Mabuza “for the next week,”
According to the statement the president was in “good spirits” but being monitored by doctors.
