With so much affection, the songwriter and media personality has taken possession of the Record label that launched his career in the ’90s with his debut album “Doggystyle.”

“I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value,”

“It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”

Going memory lane, Death Row Records which was founded by Dr. Dre, Suge Knight the D.O.C. and Dick Griffey has risen been elevated with many vibrant artists including Tupac Shakur.

Currently, Snoop Dogg’s relevance still remains in contemporary music as he will be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, alongside Eminem, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.

The music career of the actor, and entrepreneur has been appreciated by fans, especially in the early 1900s when he featured on Dr. Dre’s debut solo single, “Deep Cover”, and then on Dre’s debut solo album, The Chronic.
