Silverbird COO, Bola Salako, Loses Father at 91
The Chief Operating Officer of Silverbird Group, Bola Salako, has lost his father, Engineer Babatunde Adesola Salako, who passed away at the age of 91.
In a family announcement, the late Engineer Salako was described as a devoted Christian and a man who lived a life of humility, love, and service to humanity.
He attended Baptist Academy, Lagos, and later studied at the Northern Polytechnic, London. He went on to build a distinguished career with the Nigerian Railway Corporation, where he rose to the position of Director of Signal and Telecommunications before his retirement.
According to Bola Salako, his father was a man who “put God first in everything and treated everyone he came across with love and respect,” adding that he would be greatly missed by family, friends, and associates.

Engineer Babatunde Adesola Salako is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and extended family members.
