Senator Imasuen Dumps Labour Party For APC
The ranks of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the Senate have grown with the defection of Senator Neda Imasuen, representing Edo South, from the Labour Party.
Senator Imasuen’s resignation from the Labour Party was formally conveyed in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary session.
In the letter, the Edo South lawmaker cited unresolved internal crises within the Labour Party as the reason for his defection, pledging commitment to the APC’s progressive ideology and national development goals.
