Four persons have been arrested in connection with the violence that led to the alleged shooting of two traders by the police, in Abeokuta Ogun State.

Reports from Punch revealed that, the violence that led to the tension created panic in the area and led to gridlock for several hours in Olomore area of the State.

On the event that led to the violence, the operatives reportedly stormed the Olomore Pepper Market while attempting to arrest a suspected Internet fraudster (Yahoo boy).

Reports from reliable sources revealed that, that stray bullets from the policemen hit two pepper sellers in the market.

Adamu, who was at the scene of the event disclosed to a Punch correspondent that eight policemen stormed the market in an unmarked Toyota Siena vehicle while the pepper and tomatoes traders were offloading their goods.

He also said the victims of the stray bullet, Musa Abati and one Awwal were quickly taken to a nearby hospital afer Abati was shot in the head and Awwal was reportedly shot twice in the leg.
