Plateau state governor, Simon Lalong has ordered the immediate arrest of all Fulani leaders and community heads in some local government areas of the state.
Lalong gave the directive to the commissioner of police Isaac Akinmoyede during an emergency meeting of stakeholders which involved traditional rulers, Fulani Ardors, community leaders and religious leaders on Tuesday.
This order came following the reprisal attacks by locals over the killings by Fulani settlements in some areas in the state.

Recalled that 13 indigenes were killed recently by suspected armed herdsmen in Kwatas village of Bokkos local government area of the state.

According to the report, the state chapter of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, and a sister Fulani organisation, GAN Allah Association, confirmed the attack to journalists on Tuesday, January 28.
“We urge the security agencies to always do its homework before any declaration,” MACBAN caretaker chairman, Isa Bappa, said.
