No fewer than 80 lawyers stormed the Code of Conduct Tribunal on Friday to defend the embattled President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
Saraki is standing traial by the Code of Conduct Bureau for alleged false declaration of Assets while he was the governor of Kwara State.
As he stepped in to the venue of the trial on Friday at about 10:00 am, he was accosted by scores of lawmakers from both upper and lower chamber of the National Assembly.
Leading his team of lawyers is Kanu Agabi (SAN) who noted that beside him, there were about 79 other lawyers to defend the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki.
Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Umar Danladi arrived with the other members of the tribunal at about 30 minutes later.
