Rivers Assembly Serves Notice of Alleged Misconduct on Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State House of Assembly has served a notice of alleged misconduct against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy Ngozi Odu.

Rivers State House of Assembly Monday accused the state Governor, Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy professor Ngozi Odu of gross misconduct.

The lawmakers raised the allegation in a notice sent to the speaker Martin Amaewhule.

The Rivers lawmakers said the notice was issued in compliance with Section 188 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and other extant laws.

The lawmakers also called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate the secretary to the state government SSG, Dr Tammy Danagogo for alldgedly spending funds without appropriation .
