Paris St-Germain on Wednesday beat Bayern Munich 3-2 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions league quarter finals.
Talented PSG players Kylian Mbappe and Neymar both played key roles for the French club before they Mauricio Pochettino’s side grabbed the win.
On their roles, Neymar got two assists, while Mbappe scored twice, including the winner.
Considering their efforts for the club when it comes to goal scoring, they have combined for 10 Champions League goals since their first season together in 2017-18, at least three more than any other duo.
In reaction to the deserved win PSG secured, Mbappe said:
“I love this type of game. They haven’t always gone my way and maybe they won’t in the future, but I’m not here to hide. I love this kind of game and being decisive.
“I love to play against the best players in world and Manuel Neuer is one of the best keepers in history. I felt no pressure.”
N his personal effort, he has scored eight Champions League goals this season, the joint-most in a single season by a Frenchman.
On assists, Neymar has the most of any player since his European debut in 2013-14 with an assist in the scoring of 26 goals in the Champions League.
