President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended the tenure of Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to December 31, 2026, as announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President.
This extension, following her initial March 2024 appointment, acknowledges her “exemplary leadership” and the advancements made by the NIS under her direction, including improved border management and modernized processes.
President Tinubu praised Nandap’s dedication, urging her to continue aligning NIS priorities with his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the NIS in safeguarding Nigeria’s borders and promoting safe migration.
