President Tinubu Commences Annual Leave in Europe
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for Europe to begin his annual working vacation, according to a statement released by the State House.
The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed that the 10-day leave commenced on Thursday, September 4.
During his trip, President Tinubu is scheduled to visit both France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
The statement described the trip as a “working vacation,” an official term for a period of leave where a public official may still attend to some state matters or engagements while away from their primary duty post.
