New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo has been told to resign if the state attorney general’s investigation confirms the sexual harassment allegations against him.

President Joe Biden who made the statement reacted to the allegation against Cuomo in an interview with ABC News that is scheduled to air on Wednesday.

Biden’s statement was in the affirmative when he said, “yes” and added, “I think he’d probably end up being prosecuted, too.”

The US President stated this when asked by anchor, George Stephanopoulos whether Cuomo, who is facing allegations that he sexually harassed or behaved inappropriately towards multiple women, including several former staffers, should resign if the investigation confirms the women’s claims.

Speaking further, Biden said, “It takes a lot of courage to come forward so the presumption is it should be taken seriously,”

“And it should be investigated, and that’s what’s under way now.”

Other accusations by the former staffers are: workplace harassment, including demeaning them with pet nicknames or making objectifying remarks about their appearance, subjecting them to unwanted kisses and touches or asking them about their sex lives.
