A recording of how US President, Donald Trump told Georgia’s top election official to “find” enough votes to overturn election result, has been released by the Washington Post.

In the recording, President Trump was recorded telling Georgia’s top election official to “find” enough votes to overturn the recently concluded US election result, BBC reports.

President Trump, while speaking to the Republican Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger said, “I just want to find 11,780 votes.”

On the development, Mr Raffensperger is heard replying that Georgia’s results are correct.

Meanwhile, it was recorded that President Elect, Joe Biden, won Georgia alongside other swing states, winning 306 Electoral College votes to Mr Trump’s 232.

In reaction to the situation, Biden’s running-mate, vice-president-elect Kamala Harris, called Mr Trump’s comments “a bold abuse of power”.

Mr Trump has been alleging widespread electoral fraud without providing any evidence, since the 3 November vote.

All 50 states have certified the election result, some after recounts and legal appeals.
