The National Executive Council of the Peoples Democratic Party may sanction its erstwhile National Chairman, Ali Modu-Sheriff.

This was the resolution of the party's caucus meeting at its national secretariat, Wadada House, Abuja on Tuesday.

The spokesman of the party, Dayo Adeyeye said that the National Caretaker Committee of the party, led by Ahmed Makarfi had been directed to set up a standing Discplinary Committee to deal with erring members.

According to him, the 14 months of crisis that the party passed through was due largely to the indiscipline of some members.
