As part of the coronation rites for the new Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, a six-hour curfew has been declared in the Ilesa town of Osun State.
According to the new Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Isaac Haastrup who shared the update on his official social media page on Sunday, said the curfew will be in effect from Monday, March 10, to Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
The Monarch wrote, “A 6 HOURS CURFEW HAS BEEN DECLARED IN ILESA BETWEEN 7 PM ON MONDAY, MARCH 10, 2025 AND 6 AM ON TUESDAY MARCH 11, 2025 AS PART OF THE CORONATION RITES FOR THE OWA OBOKUN OF IJESALAND”.
