Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has refuted rumours that he was involved in an auto crash on Monday morning.

Mr. Osinbajo who was on a journey to the scene of the killings at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State on Sunday, cleared the air concerning the reports which circulated on social media that his convoy was involved in a crash along airport road Abuja.

The truth about the auto crash was actually revealed by the Vice President’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, who sated that the VP actually decided to stop and assist a victim of an auto crash.

“On his way to the airport this morning, VP came across a road traffic accident, stopped to lend assistance, & ensured the victim was taken to the hospital with VP’s convoy ambulance.

He then proceeded on his trip and is now in Ondo State heading to site of yesterday’s attack in Owo,” Akande wrote.

Meanwhile, Akande has confirmed the arrival of Mr. Osinbajo at the scene of the inhumane attack, in Ondo State
