The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Adesola Elegbeji, has cast her ballot in the ongoing election, expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the process.

Speaking shortly after voting at her polling unit in Ibido, Ward 15, Elegbeji commended officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their timely arrival and smooth handling of the exercise.

She described the atmosphere as peaceful, noting that voters conducted themselves with patience and decorum while waiting to cast their votes.

Elegbeji also praised security personnel on the ground for maintaining order and ensuring a safe environment for the electorate.

According to her, the impressive voter turnout is a positive sign for democratic participation in the state.

She urged all eligible voters who had yet to vote to come out and perform their civic duty, assuring them that their votes would count. She further appealed to stakeholders and party supporters to remain law-abiding, stressing that peaceful conduct was vital to strengthening democracy.

Expressing confidence in her party’s chances, Elegbeji said the APC would emerge victorious, citing the massive support witnessed at the polls.
