Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo says the younger generation of Nigerians are unwilling to take up the challenges of leadership.
He said they are contented with waiting for dead men’s shoes which is affecting generational shift in political leadership.
This is his reply to a letter from Mr. olisa Agbakoba.
The former president however advised Agbakoba to step forward and develop a mobilization framework that seeks to rearrange Nigeria on a different basis of legitimacy.
He said that late Obafemi Awolowo and Nnamdi Azikiwe were younger than him when they took over leadership positions.
