Nigerian Troops Kill Terrorists Kingpin, Danbokkolo

 

The Nigerian military has announced the death of notorious terrorist kingpin, Yellow Danbokkolo, who was killed in a fierce encounter with troops of Operation FASAN YAMA.

According to Major General Markus Kangye, Director Defence Media Operations, Danbokkolo sustained gunshot wounds during the battle and subsequently died from his injuries.

The terrorist kingpin was known for his brutal activities in Eastern Sokoto, and his death is seen as a significant blow to terrorist groups in the region.

Danbokkolo’s notorious activities include masterminding the December 2021 arson on travellers in Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, which resulted in the deaths of all passengers on board.

He was also known to be funding his activities through endless bouts of pentazocine.

The troops of Operation FASAN YAMA, in conjunction with Hybrid Forces supported by Air Components and other security agencies, are currently on the hunt for Bello Turji, another notorious terrorist leader who has been in hiding.

The Armed Forces of Nigeria has reiterated its commitment to restoring normalcy in all parts of the country and is calling for the cooperation of all Nigerians in this drive.

The military’s efforts to eliminate terrorist leaders and disrupt their operations are ongoing, and the death of Yellow Danbokkolo is seen as a major victory in the fight against terrorism.
