As the night drew closer to the crowning of Miss Universe Nigeria 2025, the top five contestants faced the defining moment, answering questions that revealed their personalities, values, and aspirations.
Miss Akwa Ibom said the pageant had given her the confidence to aim higher. She expressed her desire to equip young girls with the tools to grow and express themselves freely.

For Miss Anambra, who eventually won the crown, her message was to children and young dreamers.

“Go after what you can do. It’s inspiring, it’s beautiful. Be intentional,” she said, adding that her goal as queen is to leave an impact long after her reign.
Miss Lagos, the first runner-up, described herself as “restless” and reflected on her past struggles.
“I faced rejection growing up, but making it to the top five means the world to me. I will use this platform to inspire young people to believe in themselves,” she said.
For Miss Bayelsa, resilience was her strongest weapon.
“I never take ‘no’ for an answer. Being in the top five is proof of my resilience, and that is what has kept me going,” she said.
Miss Ogun also pledged to use her platform for advocacy.
“I want to inspire others and promote gender equality. Women and girls should be respected in society,” she said.
The top five’s words reflected courage, resilience, and hope, setting the tone for the crowning of Nigeria’s newest beauty queen.
