Four persons have lost their lives while five others sustained injuries in two separate road accidents in Ogun State on Friday.
The Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ahmed Umar, confirmed the accidents on Saturday.
Umar said the first accident claimed the lives of a motorcyclist and his passenger when a bus rammed into them, along the Ore-Benin-Ijebu-Ode Expressway.
The state FRSC boss added that the accident occurred when the driver of the vehicle lost control due to a burst tire and rammed into the motorcyclist while he was reportedly driving against traffic.
The sector commander noted that those who sustained injuries in the accident had been taken to the Hope Hospital, J4, while the dead had been deposited at the mortuary.
