Manchester United have taken a bold step closer to next month’s Europa League final after coming from behind to beat Roma 6-2 on Thursday.

On goals, United players Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani made great efforts and also crowned their efforts with two goals each.

As for Fernandes, the talented player swept home Cavani’s first-time lay-off to give United a perfect start in their semi-final with Italian side Roma.

An equaliser came after Paul Pogba’s handball allowed Lorenzo Pellegrini to make some efforts.

Meanwhile, the Roma skipper’s pass allowed former Manchester City striker, Edin Dzeko to score his sixth goal in five Old Trafford appearances to turn the tie on its head by half-time.

Determined United came back strong after the break with Cavani’s superb first-time effort.

Fernandes’ second goal came through a penalty which he utilized in order not to let their advantage slip a second time.
