Olujimi agbaje has emerged winner after defeating other four aspirants in the governorship primary of Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State. 
The electoral committee chairman, senator Seidu Kumo announced the result after a keenly contested exercise between the winner and his closest rival, senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Mr Jimi Agbaje polled 432 votes, senator Musiliu Obanikoro garnered 343. 
Mr Tokunbo Kamson came third with 46 votes while Adedeji Doherty and Babatunde Gbadamosi had a tie in the fourth position with 21 votes each.
There was however violent protest by other aspirants who questioned the excess of 57 votes with the earlier announced total accredited 806 delegates with number of vote counts of 863.
