Challenges Nomination Process For Next Awujale Again.
Popular Fuji Misician, Wasiu Ayinde, also Known as KWAM1 is not relenting in his quest to become the next Awujale of Ijebuland
following his disqualification from the selection process.
He has now consulted a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Dr. Wahab Shittu to fight th battle on his behalf.
In a letter dated January , 8, 2026, Dr Wahab Shittu is asking the Ogun State Government to review the process that excluded Wasiu Ayinde from the selection Process.
The letter alleged that there are illegal plans to disenfranchise some eligible Members of the Fusengbuwa ruling house from the process slated for Monday January 12, 2026.
Dr. WAHAB Shittu noted that the plans ongoing for the nomination of next Awujale is inconsistent with the Ogun State Chieftancy Laws.
He wants the state government to intervene in the interest of justice.
The letter is addressed to the Ogun State Government through he Ministry of Chieftancy affairs
