International Men’s Day: Zero Male Suicide

It’s time to celebrate men all over the world on another International Men’s Day, which is marked once in a year, to create awareness globally for many issues that men face.

November 19 annually, is a special day to remind everyone of these issues, which include: parental alienation, abuse, homelessness, suicide, and violence.

Interestingly, there are set objectives of celebrating International Men’s Day. They are set out in ‘All the Six Pillars of IMD.

This significant day is also an occasion to celebrate boys’ and men’s lives, achievements, specifically for their contributions to nation, union, society, community, family, marriage, and childcare.
