Industrial Pharmacists Association plans Research Centres In Nigeria
The Association of Industrial Pharmacists of Nigeria (NAIP) has announced plans to establish new state-of-the-art research centres across key coordinated pharmaceutical wholesale centres in Kano, Anambra and Lagos.
The Association said the objective was to create a central distribution hub for pharmaceutical products, while significantly advancing the pharmaceutical landscape in Nigeria.
NAIP national chairman, Bankole Aminu Ezebuilo, disclosed in a statement that a groundbreaking ceremony had been conducted for the centre in Anambra State, which will be located at Oba, a town in the Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.
He emphasised the importance of the project, stressing that it was heartwarming that NAIP was laying the foundation for the centre in Anambra State.
Ezebuilo said the new research centres would focus on rigorous quality assurance processes, ensuring that all pharmaceutical products underwent thorough evaluations for quality upon receipt and prior to distribution.
