Mali’s Ministry of Health on Tuesday confirmed that Halima Cisse, a woman from the country has given birth to nine babies.

The development became more an incredible one when two more babies were discovered after the seven that ultrasounds had detected.

Fanta Siby, Mali’s minister of health and social development in a statement made comments about Cisse’s delivery. He said, ultrasounds done in Mali and Morocco indicated that Halima Cisse was pregnant with seven children, but on Tuesday, she gave birth to five girls and four boys.

It was further disclosed in the statement that Cisse was admitted to a Moroccan clinic following a two-week stay in a hospital in the Malian capital, Bamako.

Considering the number of children, most people are usually skeptical about the wellbeing of children who are given birth to in such condition.
