The total number of the world’s coronavirus deaths has nearly reached 750,000.

As the rise in infections continues, the world is also nearing the sombre milestone; eight months after the first coronavirus cases were reported, Evening Standard reports.

According to the Johns Hopkins University tracker Some 749,358, coronavirus deaths have already been recorded globally.

On the number of cases globally, it was also disclosed by a reliable source that it has passed 20 million as earlier this week.

The daily rise in infections has not stopped in India.  The country reported another increase in the cases of the pandemic with 66,999 new cases; while the death toll has surpassed 47,000.

For 15 straight days, India with the world’s biggest case load behind the United States and Brazil, has reported a jump of 50,000 cases.
