The rate of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria has dropped by 1.9 per cent in 24 hours, according to the latest report by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday.

On Monday the centre recorded new 241 cases but on Tuesday the number of confirmed cases dropped to 146 with Lagos that recorded 85 new cases on Monday dropped to 57 while Kano with 64 on Monday had 27 on Tuesday.

Currently the total figure of confirmed cases across the country stands at 4787 with 158 deaths.
