The second edition of the Osebaba Cup, tagged: Osebaba Cup 2024 is set to be held on the 24th & 25th of August 2024 at the Adeyemi Federal University of Education Sports Complex, in Ondo State.
In the prestigious tournament, eight teams with talented players are ready for the battle.
In the maiden edition, the girls scouted at the Osebaba Cup 2023 are from Ondo Kingdom and they are currently playing football with clubs in the Nigeria Women Premier League; Delta Queens FC, Delta state, FC Robo Int’l, Lagos state, and Young Talent 99 FC, Lagos state. Some of them are getting ready for trials in Europe/Asia and US.
The first and best productive women’s sports competition in South West and Ondo constituency is
organised by distinguish International Coach Akinboni Osebaba Benson.
The 2024 edition promises to be memorable as the United Kingdom Sports Administrator and CEO of Makinz Sports Promotions Ltd revealed that participants will be given Cash gifts, Trophies, Medals, Certificates, and many more.
Special guests expected to grace the football competition are: International coach Benson, Ex-Super Falcons & African Footballer of The Year Nominee, Vera Okolo, Ex-Super Falcons &Nigerian Olympian, Rita Nwadike, CEO, Lilly Legends Sports, & Ex-Nigerian International, Amarachi Lilian Ezeabasili and others.
