Governor Seyi Makinde Reshuffles Oyo State Cabinet

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has implemented a cabinet reshuffle, reassigning key commissioners to different ministries. The changes, announced on Monday through a statement by Chief of Staff Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, are effective immediately.

The reshuffle includes the following reassignments:

Seun Ashamu, formerly Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, is now Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources.

Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, previously Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, moves to the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport.

Prof. Dahud Shangodoyin, who served as Commissioner for Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transport, is reassigned to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

Prof. Solihu Adelabu, formerly Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, takes over the Ministry of Establishments and Training.

Segun Olayiwola, previously Commissioner for Establishments and Training, is now Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology.

Governor Makinde urged the commissioners to approach their new roles with dedication and a commitment to advancing the state’s development goals.
