Ganduje Resigns as APC National Chairman

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has resigned as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His resignation, which took many party members by surprise, comes amid growing internal pressure and legal challenges surrounding his leadership and tenure.

Sources within the APC confirmed that Ganduje tendered his resignation letter to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on Monday. An official statement from the party is expected to follow.

Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, assumed the role of APC National Chairman in 2023 and has since presided over critical moments in the party, including the 2023 general elections.

Details surrounding his decision to step down are still emerging.
