A south London street party has triggered panic and violence leaving twenty-two police officers injured, with two needing hospital treatment.
Evening Standard reports that Scotland Yard said officers were confronted by a “hostile” crowd as they tried to break up a “block party” on Cecilia Road, Brixton, on Wednesday night

Four people are already in police custody. They have been arrested for assault and public order offences.
